Once you are in Puerto López please take any bus going to Santa Elena and ask to stop in Ayampe. Companies by the name of ¨Manglaralto¨ and ¨Reales Tamarindos¨ are those you want to take: although ¨Manglaralto¨ has more buses going south.
Option 1:
You will have two choices to go out of Quito:
1. Take the Panamericana Sur to Aloag.
2. Take the Rumiñanhui Free way to Valle de los Chillos then take the Sangolquí way to Amaguaña, Aloag.
Just arriving to Aloag you should take the way to Santo Domingo - El Carmen - Chone - Tosagua -
Option 2:
Once arrived to Sto. Domingo take the way to Quevedo-Empalme-Portoviejo, and since there you will have to continue to Manta and Jipijapa passing by Pto. Cayo-Machalilla-Pto. López-Ayampe (La Tortuga).
