LAS GOTERAS AND AGUA BLANCA TOUR
(HUMID FOREST, TREKKING Y HORSEBACK RIDING)
These tours usually begin at 8:30 AM in Puerto López, from which you'll head to where the horses are waiting or the trekking begins.
Trekking and horseback riding use the entry to Las Goteras, that's 5 minutes from Puerto López, as a departure point; from then it's on to the hill's highest part where there's a humid tropical forest where you can appreciate typical fauna and flora of the area. You then arrive at Agua Blanca to visit the archeological museum, funerary urns, and archeological ruins from the Manteña culture, to end up in the thermal water lagoon; all of this running approx. 4 hours long.

Finally there's a typical lunch at the Agua Blanca commune. Depending in the visitor's conditions, there's an option to continue trekking or horseback riding to the commune's entryway and if not there's transportation arranged to pick them up at Agua Blanca.
